pub const fn pci(class_code: u32, bar_ix: u32, confine: bool) -> u32Expand description
Describe a PCI device by what the BUS says it is: the industry-standard 24-bit (class, subclass, prog-if) triple, plus which BAR holds its registers.
This is what lets a driver be added with NO KERNEL CHANGE. 0x0C0330 is xHCI on every
machine ever built, so the kernel needs no name for it - it looks the code up in the table
its boot scan already filled. The BAR index is the one extra fact, because devices differ
(xHCI 0, AHCI 5), and an INDEX is not an address, so it is safe to accept from a caller.
